My name is William Simpson and I am the Centre Manager for Swinburne Children’s Centre, Croydon.

I’ve been very privileged to have worked in the Early Childhood Education sector for the past 7 years. I have undertaken a wide plethora of roles starting as a casual educator and engaging my professional abilities and experience in a room education and care setting, educational leadership and curriculum coordinator role, workplace health and safety roles and over the past 3 years, senior management roles including area management of services and individual service based management. I am thrilled to be joining the team here at Croydon and look forward to working with the educators to continue to provide high quality education and care to our children and families that is responsive to industry changes and the needs of our families.

I view the children as strong and important individuals who should only be made to feel proud of who they are and what they can and have achieved. I celebrate diversity and advocate for the provision of care for children from all walks of life. It is my vision to see early childhood education and care continue to be an integral part of a child’s first 5 years of life and I aim to create a loving, rounded and holistic environment here at Swinburne Children’s Centre.
